FTP is vulnerable to hacking and other kinds of attacks. When you use an unpatched FTP program to upload your files, it gets riskier as attackers might be able to get your FTP login info without a sweat. That's why we provide you with an FTP lock system. When the lock is enabled, no one including you can access the FTP protocol of our servers. It makes your hosting account even more secure and reliable.
If you wish not to lock the FTP, you can easily unlock it for a lifetime within the hosting control panel.
